On January 6. 2024 I directed the horror short film Grandma’s Cookies up in Palmdale. This was a film that my writing partner Brantley had written a few years prior but we just did not have the opportunity to make…until my friend Ryan, who writes for iHorror Magazine did an interview with Eileen Dietz – from The Exorcist – and she had mentioned it to him.
We had a very successful year, winning multiple awards, especially for Eileen who won TWO best actress awards at two different festivals in the same weekend. The reviews of the film have also been very positive….we really appreciate that you all have enjoyed this film so much. I have had so many great conversations with you all at screenings and festivals….
I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of such a fun film. You all have asked for a feature version of the film…I can tell you that the writer, Brantley, has been working on a treatment for that…so who knows, maybe in the future there will be a feature film of GRANDMA’S COOKIES
